Viticulture has a face in Aargau

The Aargau Cantonal Museum of Viticulture. The history and development of viticulture in Aargau, which occupies an important position within agriculture, is vividly and vividly presented in the former Wisstrotte dating from 1788 in Tegerfelden.

A knowledgeable guide will take you on a tour. You will receive exciting information and stories about grape cultivation, the care of the vineyard, the harvest and the subsequent processing and care in the cellar until bottling. The various work processes are clearly illustrated over 4 floors. There are lots of tools and machines to marvel at and you can even put one or two of them into operation.

Outside of regular opening hours, we offer guided tours for groups that are specially tailored to your wishes and can be combined with an aperitif or a tasting. It is also possible to explore the museum independently using an iPad. You are welcome to contact the office.
