Nature walk at the Klingnau reservoir

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of animals along the Aare and experience the nature reserve in its winter splendor! You can discover water birds in their natural habitat and wild animals such as foxes and squirrels. During the guided tour, you will gain interesting insights into the animals’ way of life and learn how you can contribute to their protection. The walk invites you to see nature with new eyes and to sharpen your own perception of the environment. With a bit of luck, you may even encounter rare Nordic bird species – a unique opportunity!

  • When: Saturday, 18.01.2025 10.00 to 12.00 a.m.
  • Cost: CHF 20.- / per person (up to 16 years free)
  • Meeting point: Parking lot Kanalstrasse 1, 5314 Kleindöttingen (10min walk from Döttingen train station)
  • Registration: welcome@badzurzach.info / 056 269 00 60 from 6 years / max. 15 people
    The event will only take place in dry weather. Cancellation at least one day before .
  • Take along: Clothing suitable for the weather
    • Optional: binoculars, food, smartphone, sun protection, etc.
  • Photos: are very welcome. If the birds are calm, cell phone photos can also be taken through the telescope
  • Dogs: Dogs can frighten wild animals and cause them to stay further away.

About the excursion leader:
Michel Hänggi is a qualified field ornithologist and excursion leader with over 20 years of experience in birdwatching. During this time, he has collected numerous surprising and enriching nature experiences – and constantly expanded his knowledge of flora and fauna. He is happy to pass on his knowledge of plants, mammals, amphibians, reptiles and bats to you.
