The author:
Petra Ivanov was born in Zurich in 1967. She spent her childhood in the USA, where she discovered the joy of reading and writing thanks to Mark Twain, Louisa May Alcott and Julie Campbell. After studying at the Zurich School of Interpreting, she initially worked as a freelance translator and language teacher and later as a journalist in various editorial offices. She began writing in German while working for HEKS, the aid organization of the Swiss Protestant Churches. As an editor, one of her tasks was to provide information on projects at home and abroad as well as on various campaigns. She realized that she could reach people in a different way with stories than with journalistic articles. Without further ado, she turned the topics that were close to her heart into suspense novels.
